Do-Now

Learning is a process. A project is a process -the process is the key. So the point is that it is the "do-now" that one needs to focus upon. If a project were broken down into parts, it can have a focus in each phase. It needs your attention to detail. While a person learns and gathers the information and gets to understand a point, there is a moment of taking it in, breathing in.  The mandala making monks of Tibet who came from Hubli, Karnataka had this to teach today at the Princeton Center for Yoga and Health. They are mindful of creating the beauty in the Mandala- they focus on the process. The process consists of making a draft of the Mandala, using colored sand, pouring it into the cones with holes at the ends. Then you inhale and exhale lightly, settle down by bending into a comfortable position and start tapping the sand onto the design.
